Product Description

Transponder key blanks for Nissan and Infinity vehicles. Most modern automobiles have keys with transponder chips hidden inside the plastic head of the key. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself.

These are blank keys that must be cut to match your current key. Many hardware stores or locksmiths can do this for you. In addition, your car must be programmed to recognize the transponder  which can only be done by a dealer or technician.

This remote fits the following cars:

  • Nissan 350Z 2003 - 2009
  • Nissan Altima 2005 - 2006

Went to the lock smith and they said they didn't do generic keys. I knew the owner and asked if she would try it one time.....she agreed and it worked perfect the first time.....Thanks
