Product Description
Transponder key blanks for Nissan and Infinity vehicles. Most modern automobiles have keys with transponder chips hidden inside the plastic head of the key. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself.
These are blank keys that must be cut to match your current key. Many hardware stores or locksmiths can do this for you. In addition, your car must be programmed to recognize the transponder which can only be done by a dealer or technician.

Look factory, work as master key
Overall I'm pleased with my purchase. The keys look just like the original master keys and, once cut, worked like the master key. My only reason for the 4 star rating versus a 5 star rating is as I was heading out the door to get the keys cut I dropped one of the new keys. Upon picking it up I could hear the transponder rolling around inside the key head. Fortunately the key heads are pretty easy to pop apart so I was able to put another dab of CA glue (which appears to be what was originally used as evidenced by the white film) and snap the key head back together. The OEM key feels solid, like maybe the head is molded around the key. These keys feel less substantial and are hollow inside the heads. I don't expect this to be an issue in the long term though. They metal seems solid and they were easy to program to the truck and work as well as the OEM key.

Keys Work Great!
I bought the 2 Transponder keys for my 2017 Nissan Frontier @ $18.99. Being a manual transmission, we have manual locks so did not need a FOB. We took our keys to a local locksmith/towing place and they only charged $2.00 to cut both keys, what a bargain!! They did not need programming, the locksmith said they must be pre-programmed. These keys are especially nice since they have the Nissan logo, not just a blank black key and they look exactly like the one that came with the truck. They work perfectly and was a great price. I'm purchasing 2 more keys to keep one in my safe and one on my RV key chain for when we tow the truck.

Very quick shipping. This seller was up front in his explanation about the products sold. Some car dealers, cast a lot of doubt, on online purchasers, thinking that, do it yourself people, seem to be people who don't know too much. It's nice sometimes to prove them wrong.

Solved my key problem
I have been looking for replacement keys for my Nissan car with the Nissan logo on the keys and I couldn’t find them anywhere until I found them here. Now I have two extra replacement keys with the Nissan logo on them and I got them at very affordable price!

Worked on 2005 Nissan Altima with no problems. Note: I had to go to a locksmith...Walmart couldn't program and dealer wanted $65...the locksmith charged me $20.
