Product Description
5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

I bought this as my original keys were wearing down. This one worked perfect. Got it laser cut at Ace Hardware and it was super easy to program. Will be buying a another one.

It was so easy!!!
My buttons on my key fob literally fell off I was unable to lock, unlock or remote start my car with key fob. I placed an order for key fob paid barely $24.00 for replacement. When it arrived I first called Chevy dealer to see how much they would charge to cut key it was close to $250 for them to just cut. I was like no way so a friend mentioned that a Ace Hardware store might be able to cut it so I went there they told me no promises. It took them 30 minutes to cut it the guy told me to go try in doors and turn key by golly it worked they charged me $10.00 to cut it. For less than $40.00 I replaced my key fob

Great remote
GM remote, not a knockoff that many sell. Dealer cost was $200 so I saved $150. Programming instructions were easily followed.

Works Perfectly.
Thank you KeylessRemotes.com. The key (once cut) and the fob (after 5-10 second programming) work perfectly. All together cost me $73.49. Much better than the over $300 my local Chevy dealer wanted to charge me. And a bonus, I have original flip key back. I would definately recommend this business to anyone.

Just like the original
I ordered a key from Amazon and it was nothing compared to this key. This key works so much faster just like my original key.

Pleasently surprised
As expensive as these keys can be at the dealer, I was a concerned about the quality of this key at such a good price. I was pleasantly suprised that this is absolutely the same quality key you would get from a dealer. It arrived quickly. After getting it cut, it works perfectly. Supplied instructions make it very easy to program. Will definitely use you again.
