Product Description
5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

WHAT A GREAT SAVINGS
I am so grateful, my 88 yr old mother lost both sets of car keys and we were at a complete loss, I ordered the key fabs with flip key for her car and took them to the dealership because they had to cut it, we didnt have an original. Then we found one of her originals and went right to Ace hardware (as long as it is not the new machine they can cut anything) and for less than 10 bucks they cut the key and all I had to do is program it, which they made super easy.. I highly recommend... I will always go to these guys..this product saved me a great deal of money and aggravation.

Perfect
Exactly as shown oem remote. Shipped and recieved within a week. Dropped the pin, swapped the blades out. Reprogrammed all within 15 minutes.

Works flawlessly!
Purchased these replacement fobs for a "new to me" 2013 Camaro that had the typical dropped pin issue on the key fob. Both were taken to Batteries + and Lazer cut. The keys fit great and the fobs programmed perfectly on the first try. Will recommend!

Great Key Fob!
I purchased this key fob for my 2013 Chevy Cruz and the instructions that came with it made programing quick and easy. Will definitely recommend a anyone I know that needs a key fob replacement.

Perfect replacement fobs
The fobs came quickly and were very reasonable in price. The programming and key cutting were not expensive at all. For half of what one fob would cost at the dealership; I was able to get two replacement fobs and they were programmed and ready to go within 30 minutes.

Worked well but wore out
I bought one of these and had it cut by a locksmith - easy to program for my car. It worked well and kept working for about 10-11 months, at which time the rubber over the unlock button came loose. That may just be something that happens with this kind of key fob - I don't know, but I bought another one and I'm going to put an aftermarket rubber cover on the outside of it in hopes of not having that problem again. Electronically, it worked great (and still would, if the button weren't essentially broken.)
