5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Chevy Dealership wanted $250.00 to replace and program the key. Found these guys on google and tried them. UMMMM I fell like I Won. lol The New key was $20.00 and Batteries Plus cut it for $25.00. Spent $45.00 & Saved $205.00. Programming the key to my car took less than 15 Seconds. All button controls work fine on the Fob. Order your keys from these guys.

I have purchased replacement keys before from your company. I at one time when to the Chevrolet dealership here in Cali. They wanted $75.00 for what looked exactly like the one you supplied. I was then informed that the key needs programming which would cost another $200. I informed them that I have done it myself in the past. I was asked if I was sure I wanted to do this myself. I pulled out of the dealership, followed the printed instructions and in about 15 seconds my spare key was programmed. Ka-ching!!! My hope is that companies like yours will venture into the more expensive car model market with special FOBS that are designed to hamstring the consumer and marry us to dealerships and specialty companies. So, my total cost came to $44.23, key and key cutting. I wish your business to grow and add additional OEM FOBS.

Awesome Key Faub
This works exactly as the factory key faub, but this is alot less than from the dealer. Dealer price was $132 + $100 to program. This was $19.99 and 60 second instructions to program. I would rate this 10 stars if I could. The best thing it's exactly as it came from the factory before they recalled. I love the flip key for my 2011 Camaro 2SS/RS.
