5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Good Deal
I thought when I lost my key that the replacement would be expensive (like $100 or more). Turns out I could get a really really good replacement for $20 plus about $4 shipping. Had to have it cut, but programming was a breeze. Total cost was $44. I’m a happy camper.

Works as well as OEM
The remote works as well as OEM. Easy to program for the vehicle. It's funny, it cost more to have the key cut that the cost of the remote. everything works perfect.

Simple as can be!
It literally took me less than a minute to program my new remote. Had it cut at a local dealer for $10, they tried to tell me I would have to pay $45 to have it programmed but I felt pretty confident I could do it myself. Saved some $$$!!

No games... Just the original equipment transmitter. Swap the key shaft, use your spare key to program.

Perfect fit
this was the perfect fit for the key that I needed to replace . I am so happy that I have my switchblade key back and not that silly key that Chevy gives you when they did that key recall. I love it btw it was easy to program as well!

Fantastic
Needed a new key for my Chevy Cruze, dealer wanted me to purchase the key for $63.00. Found the key on keyless-remotes for $19.99 and I purchased it. Received it in 5 days, had the key cut at the Chevy dealer, programed it and worked flawlessly. I would purchase again from keyless-remotes and most likely will, with the crappy design of this key.
