Product Description
5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Works Great!
Don't waste $$ at the dealer. This works! I have a 2012 Cruz! I took the key to a locksmith and paid $40 to cut the key. I came home and programmed the key in 10 seconds. You must have another key programmed in order for the new key to work!

Works okay
Arrived very quickly and is nice replacement fob. Had the key cut and programmed per the included instructions, 4 of the buttons work, except the remote start does not work.

Had the key cut at a local locksmith ($25). Once that was done, just followed the easy instructions to program. Worked perfect first time!

WORKS PERFECTLY
Arrived very quickly & is absolutely top quality replacement for my OEM fob. I swapped the blank blade with the one already cut (that was on the the broken fob) - used my spare key to program, took less than 30 seconds and I was on my way I and I am sooooo grateful for your site and for your product - thank you again!

Got keys in with no problem brought to a local hardware store. They cot keys at no charge surprisingly. Went to car followed instructions and was on my way in 10 secs. Would recommend to anyone.

Real deal
The key fob is a great price, took it to the dealership and they claimed they couldn't cut it and warranty it. I went to a local locksmith and was treated like royalty. Dealership quoted me $90 for same exact thing.
