5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

2010 Camaro
Price was fantastically low, and can't be beat. I would suggest that you find a locksmith who does laser cuts before purchase. I went to my Chevy dealer (Rick Hendrick in Duluth, GA) to get them cut. First issue was the key recall for this car. I have received hundreds of notices and have responded in person, (Hendrick's) by phone, and email to decline this recall. This was the first mistake. Then they said that if you bring in outside keys, they would not guarantee them. Of course they had keys for sale at twice the price. Well, I found a local locksmith and got them cut. When I picked them up I went to my car and followed the easy instructions and programed the key and fob at the same time without any issues. Great product and if needed, I will be coming back to keyless remotes for my purchase. A+++++

Very affordable
Very easy to program, cost only $10 to get the key cut, was very satisfied to get another key/faub when all said and done for only $34. I would highly recommend!!

Fast and EZ Fix
YouTube video showed me how to swap the key blade into the new remote. Pretty simple. No key cutting required. Swapped the blade, then programmed the remote per included instructions (in less than 10 seconds!)
