This remote will work with the factory installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system on the vehicles listed below. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE system installed on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. All of our remotes come with new batteries and are tested before shipment.
PROGRAMMING: This is a “high security” remote-key that must be cut and programmed by a Honda dealership or an automotive locksmith with proper key cutting and programming equipment. Fees for key cutting and programming are not included in the purchase price. Please check with your local Honda dealer or locksmith to make sure they can properly cut and program this remote-key before purchasing.

The key and chip work perfectly even though this is an off brand version of the key, only downside is that the key was missing the logo and had a dip in the back which is a little annoying.

I haven't programmed it yet it's for my mother's vehicle and I don't have everyday access to it. Also the programming machine i just ordered for only $80 hasn't arrived yet but it will program any chip key for any vehicle making these keys a smart choice. $20 for the key $5 for the cut, 10min to program the remote, $80 for the device to program the chip but it can obviously be used unlimited amount of times on any vehicle so I think it's well worth it.
