Lincoln Transponder Key Blank

$32.00 $21.95
(You save $10.05)

Product Description

This is an original equipment transponder key and will work with the vehicles listed below. This is a TRANSPONDER KEY. Most modern automobiles have keys with transponder chips hidden inside the plastic head of the key. When a key is inserted into the ignition lock cylinder and turned, the car's computer sends a radio signal to the transponder. Unless the transponder replies with a valid code, the computer will not allow the engine to be started. Transponder keys have no battery; they are energized by the radio signal itself.

PROGRAMMING: This is a blank key that must be cut to match your current key. Many hardware stores or locksmiths can do this for you. In addition, your car must be programmed to recognize the transponder. You can do this yourself provided you already have two working master keys. If you do not have two working, factory transponder keys, you will have to have a dealer or locksmith do the programming. Any programming fees are not included in the purchase price.

This key fits the vehicles listed below:

  • Lincoln Avaitor (2003-2005)
  • Lincoln LS (2003-2006)
  • Lincoln Mark LT (2005-2009)
  • Lincoln MKS (2009)

  1. High Quality

Posted by Mike in Glendale on 5th Feb 2018

Arrived quickly by mail. Keys are like original and well made. Took to a locksmith to have them cut to match original key. I was able to program them myself using the step by step detailed instructions included with the keys. This is my 5th order from Keyless-Remotes and I have never been disappointed. They are my first choice for transponder keys and fobs. Thanks for doing a great job and keep up the good work. Mike in Glendale
