Product Description
5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Factory GM key fob
Works great cost $10 to get it cut super easy to program. Just start your vehicle with your old key then start it with the new key, after it starts press the remote start button on the key fob to program it, then get out and check all the remote functions. If that doesn't work then it's not a GM factory key

Programmed perfectly for my Chevy equinoxes 2014. Saved $200 buying the key here rather than Chevy dealer.

This is the real deal!
I got the key and went to a locksmith that told me he wouldn't guarantee the laser cut and I asked him to save the sales pitch and cut it. It worked perfectly and I save hundreds or close to it. Found them on a google search, price was good, service great, a week later I have my remote. Only rub was finding a local locksmith who would cut the key for me, but once I did, I was in business. Very happy with this company, highly recommend.

Great Product
This was the first time I ordered from your company and I was skeptical at first because of the low price of the fob. It turned out to be great. I received it fast had the key cut pretty cheap programmed it in less then 5- minutes and that was it I had anew spare fob/key that worked instantly. Great results at a great price. Thank you again. Found a local locksmith and had the key cut and programmed in 15-minutes and car running.

Easy to program
The hardest part was finding locksmith to cut the blanks. Programming was super easy. Now the bad side, range is decreased from the original equipment.

they really work
I order 2 keys for my Equinox. I went to dealer and paid 80.00 for one new key fob and having it cut. I bought 2 for 40.00 and had them cut at the dealer for 30.00 so i got 2 for the price of one.
