5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Bought this online instead of from the dealer. Im sure that I saved a ton by doing it that way. Very easy ti program using the included instructions.

I was pleasantly surprised with the item. It even had the chevrolet logo on it. I have to have it laser cut but I am hopeful that all will be well. I am hoping that I am able to program it. I saw a video about programming the key that was a fit for the exact vehicle I have. It appears to be able to be done in seconds. The dealership wanted $180.00. No doubt they would do what I am planning to do and pocket the money.

Chevy Equinox Remote
So far, so good. Have had no issues with the replacement remote fob for my Equinox. Programmed it after getting it laser cut at the dealership and have had no issues.

Exactly what I needed!
I had my key cut at the dealership with cost $25, plus the cost of key I ended up saved $30 this was a great buy! Looks great compared to my old one that's falling apart.

Works great, No problems at all, but I only have it for a couple weeks, easy instructions to program. My local dealership cut it for $10 dollars, so far so good.
