Product Description
5-Button flip-out key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Very affordable
Purchased this for my Son and took it to another place of business to have the key made. This place also sold FOB keys for triple the amount. It was $25 to make the key and $75 to program it. We programmed the FOB key ourselves using the EXTREMELY easy instructions from Keyless Remotes and we saved ourselves a bit over $170 had we purchased everything from the other locksmith. Great product!
It came super fast and I was able to take it to my local dealership and get it keyed for $30. It usually cost $250 plus tax for a new key and to be programmed. It only took seconds to program it. Great product!!

Works great
Received 2 remotes and had them cut at the local Chevy dealer from the VIN number for $15 each. They work great! What a great value over buying at the dealership.

Just received the remotes in the mail today. Look like the ones that came with the car. Checked around and the local Chevy dealer was the lowest cost @ $15 a key to cut based on the VIN for best fit

Great Remote--$$ Saved
After losing my key, I called the dealership only to be quoted $250 to replace and reprogram a new key. Frustrated, I found keyless remotes.com and placed an order.
