This is a genuine Subaru remote and will work with the factory remote keyless entry system (RKE) on the vehicles in the chart below. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE option on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle.
NOTE: On the back of your current remote it will say "Made in Japan" OR "Made in Mexico". This remote is "Made in Mexico" and MUST match your current remote.
Programming: This remote must be programmed to your vehicle. There is a do-it-yourself procedure and instructions will be provided. However, programming Subaru remotes can be rather difficult and you may need to have it done by a dealer or locksmith..
