NEW: New remotes are just that; new, unused remotes.

USED/REFURBISHED: Many of the remotes we get into stock are only slightly used; they may just have a little dust in the cracks or a few minor scratches. They are in 'like new' condition and don't need any work. Some remotes show more wear and may need a little work. This is often the case with remotes for older cars that are rare or hard to find. We may change cases, circuit boards, button pads, install new batteries, etc., in order to give you the best product possible. They will, however, show signs of previous use including: A smoother appearance, some minor scratches and some buttons may have minor fading or discoloration. Consider, though, that if you buy a new remote, it will look just like one of these in a few months. Our used/refurbished remotes are in excellent condition, fully warranted, and a great value.

The 'dirty little secret' that other sites don't tell you:

OTHER web sites sell replacement remotes and never tell you that you are buying a USED product. They try very hard to hide this fact. No where on their site(s) will you see the word NEW. This is the dirty little secret of this business. Just remember; the word "Replacement" does not mean NEW.
