Product Description
This remote has lock, unlock, panic, remote start, and rear hatch buttons and will work with the factory remote keyless entry system on the vehicles listed in the description. Customers are responsible to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. This is a new remote with all electronics and battery included.
PROGRAMMING: Your vehicle must be programmed to recognize the remote. You can do this yourself UP TO and including model year 2010. Those instructions are included. Starting in 2011 GM removed the on-board programming and you will have to take your vehicle to a dealer or locksmith to have it programed with diagnostic equipment.

One faulty out of the bunch
I have been ordering from this company for years when I need my key fob replaced. This time I order two. One worked perfectly and was easy to program per their instructions, the other did not work at all. Took it to the dealership to have it tested and the dealership said that they did not get any reading from it as far as the battery working. They opened it up, it had all the guts and a battery and noticed that the battery was a working battery but a connection must be off. So this one will have to be returned. I'm sure that this company will replace with no issues since I have been a client for years now. I just wanted everyone to know that although their product is usually top-notched, there can be one out of the bunch that is not working properly, so don't be discouraged to order from this company.
