This is a replacement remote and will work with the factory remote keyless entry system (RKE) on the vehicles listed below. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE system on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. All of our remotes come with fresh batteries and are fully tested before shipment.
NOTE: Some Toyota vehicles were equipped with an optional dealer installed system. That system is known as the Toyota VIP, RS3000, or RS3200 security system and it uses a different remote.

Works great -- easy program
The programming steps are rather funny to do in the parking lot at work -- many stares as I was opening/closing the door. But they worked and the new remote works so much better than my old, failing remote.

toyota wanted $150 and I hour labor $135tp program it, for a new key fob The one i bought here for $20. was the same one that came with mu car when i bought it. I was able to program on the first try with the included instructions. Great Deal Thanks

Keyless entry for Toyota Tacoma

Surprisingly Easy!
I bought a used 2013 Tacoma and it didn't have a keyless remote, so I figured I'd give this a try. When I received the fobs, they didn't include programming instructions, but I located a couple of versions on YouTube. The second set of instructions worked just fine. It took about 15 minutes, start to finish, and I figure it saved me a couple of hundred dollars..
