Notes: In 2001 some vehicles changed remotes mid-year. The remotes look identical but do not interchange. You will need to match the part number off of your current remote to ensure you are purchasing the correct one. If the part number does not match, then this remote will not work. See our other listings. If you do not have an existing remote to go off of, the only way to determine which remote you need would be to purchase both remotes and return the one that does not program.
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase.
This remote will replace:
Part #: 15732803
FCC ID: KOBUT1BT
CAN: 1983 101 393
This remote will work with the factory installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system on the vehicles listed above. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE system installed on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. All of our remotes come with new batteries and are tested before shipment.

my almost 24 year old keyless remotes one was dead the other had to be up close to work. Ordered new ones and they programed so easily and are identical looking to the original. You don't need a locksmith or to ask your 10 yr old grandson to program these they work perfectly. Do yourself a favor if you have a bad or weak keyless remote just order a new set. The prices are amazing with prompt shipping and quality. You will not be sorry!

The 20 year old OEM remotes (Part #: 15732803) for my 2001 Chevy Silverado were broken, glued, taped, etc., and yet they occasionally worked. The new remotes from Keyless Remotes, once easily programed, work flawlessly. Good product, thank you.

I ordered two remotes as replacements for one that was erratic and one that was worn. They were easily programmed and work better than the new originals with seemingly better range. You can't go wrong with this product.

This keyless remote is exactly like the one that came with my truck. It was easy to program. It was not even half the price of the ones I could buy locally. I am very happy with it.
