4-button Chevrolet Flip Key remote. Not for passive entry vehicles. ONLY for vehicles that require the key be inserted and turned in the ignition switch to start. If you have a push-button on your dash to start the car you need a PEPS key remote. Not this one.
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key before programming. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealer.

• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Cruze may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)

• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2018) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to program a 3rd)

It works!
My old fob broke at the base of the key. Once I received the order; I removed the key from the old fob and installed it in the new one. I then followed the two-step instruction. All went as planned.

Purchased a 4 button flip key remote- lock/unlock/trunk/& panic for my '13 Chevy Sonic so I could have a spare key. My local Ace Hardware cut it for $10! I programmed it myself (so easy). Every button & flip key function properly. Very happy with this purchase! OH and it has the chevy logo on the back

Cruze FOB
Replaced key shank with original. Programed using good second key. Works fine so far. Less than a day now. Poor design by GM and other manufacturers, ad this is second Cruze FOB to break at pin with being torqued all the time. Weakest link.
