4-button Chevrolet Flip Key remote. Not for passive entry vehicles. ONLY for vehicles that require the key be inserted and turned in the ignition switch to start. If you have a push-button on your dash to start the car you need a PEPS key remote. Not this one.
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key before programming. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealer.

• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)

Great Product
Fast delivery. I called / visited several hardware stores and key shops. I only found one that could cut this type of key, and their machine wasn't working correctly. Suggested I wait a week for them to get the machine set up correctly. I went to my local Chevy dealership. They cut the key and programmed it for me in less than 1/2 hour for $25.

Excellent product
Ordered the key fob because the dealership I bought the used car from only gave me one key and did not seem to care that there was no spare. Key arrived within a week. Called around for someone to cut it and found that several of the dealers said they could not cut it but did direct me to one that could but would be about $52 to cut and program. Stopped by the local Ace and they said they could cut it and ended up not charging anything. Took the key home and followed the directions for programming the fob and with in 30 seconds had a functional spare key. Great deal.

It works!
My old fob broke at the base of the key. Once I received the order; I removed the key from the old fob and installed it in the new one. I then followed the two-step instruction. All went as planned.
