I'm pleased to say that it works just fine!
The remote I purchased from keyless-remotes.com was programmed by a local locksmith without incident. The only problem was that the remote strongly resists removal of the metal physical key from the fob's housing. We could barely get the metal internal key to come out of the fob so the locksmith could cut it. That's a minor point, however, and a small screwdriver can do the trick if one ever actually needs to use the metal key, which would be pretty rare. Though the purchased remote lacks the specifications markings which are present on the original Nissan keys, the remote's electronics have thus far worked correctly for an entire day, so I'm a happy purchaser. Shipping was handle in a timely fashion. The key arrived intact. The ordering process was hassle-free. I'd order from keyless-remotes.com again.
