This remote will work with the factory installed remote keyless entry (RKE) system on the vehicles listed below. Your vehicle must have the factory RKE system installed on it. Customers are responsible to determine if they have this option and to purchase the correct remote for their vehicle. All of our remotes come with new batteries and are tested before shipment.
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Programming can only be done by a dealer or automotive locksmith with the correct programming equipment for your vehicle. Fees for programming are not included in the purchase price. Please check with your local dealership or locksmith to make sure they can properly program this remote before purchasing.

Great Replacement
My original backup set was lost and ordered this one and it was programmed by a local locksmith and worked exactly as original Would highly recommend. Cost was a fifth that dealer wanted.

Silly me
I didn't read the programming part so I have been unsuccessful with finding someone to program this fob for me. So not sure if it works or not.

This is the second time ordering one of these remotes. Great price , the only thing I do not like is that they break easy if they are dropped.

Cobalt Remote
I was very happy with the product. I didn't read the small print about the fact I would have to have an automotive locksmith set up the remote. I had a friend that said they were easy to configure. I have missed my remote terribly. I must say the gentleman that came out did an excellent job and was able to get my original two remotes working somewhat. I know I will enjoy the ease of the new remotes and their reliability. It is still cheaper than having Chevy replace the remotes. I pick up my aging mother and her walker and was always having to walk to the driver's side of the car to open the door to let her in. This is not always an ideal situation.

Oops!
I got two and one programmed perfectly and the other didn't. They were very nice about it when I called about the one not working and are sending a replacement. I am very satisfied.

Works great if you have the programmer
I already owned a key fob programmer so this was a low cost solution to a worn out fob. Works great.
