GM Key Programing

Product Description

Transponder Key blank circle plus for GMC vehicles with logo.  This key has a transponder chip inside the key

PROGRAMMING: This is a blank key that must be cut to match your current key. Many hardware stores or locksmiths can do this for you. In addition, your car must be programmed to recognize the transponder. You can do this yourself provided you already have one working master key. Easy, do-it-yourself programming procedures are included with purchase. If you do not have one working, factory transponder key, you will have to have a dealer or locksmith do the programming. Any programming fees are not included in the purchase price.

Programming Notes: Canadian manufactured vehicles do not have an on-board programming procedure. If your VIN number starts with a "2" it is a Canadian vehicle and the do-it-yourself programming will not work. Programming must be done by a GM dealer or qualified locksmith with proper programming equipment.

This key fits the vehicles listed below:

  • GMC Acadia (2007-2016)
  • GMC Savana (2008-2014)
  • GMC Sierra (2007-2014)
  • GMC Yukon (2007-2014)

    Keyless Remotes & Keys

Posted by Fred O. on 29th Apr 2019

Great product!! Keyless Remote saved me over $150 when the dealership wanted $180 for just a key and one pad. I ordered two pads and two keys for a fraction of the price from the dealership. They also sent instructions to program your key and pad. Thanks Keyless Remote!!!

    Saved $37 bucks

This product is the exact same product as what you would get at the dealer for $46+ Do yourself a favor and get this. Watch the youtube video on how to program the key. Programming takes about 10 seconds. Home Depot will cut this key for free (be nice and buy something else). Pocket the $37-ish dollars saved and take your wife out for dinner. Perfect!

    Worked Perfectly

Posted by Don H on 9th Aug 2018

Key blank for my 2008 GMC Acadia was shipped and received promptly. Key was exact replacement and received in 24 hours. Enclosed Programming Instructions worked perfectly, and after having the blank key copied and cut at my local hardware (a free service), the key and fob were good to go and in less than five minutes matched to my car. Great experience all around...and easier than expected. Obviously Keyless Remotes is serious about its business, Thank you!!

Ordered. Took to hardware store and had cut. Programmed it and using it! Best deal out there. Probably saved $150 over the dealership!

    Works perfect

Easy to program with the instructions they give you. I just went to Walmart after their auto department closed and used the machine to cut it to match my existing one. Took about 30 seconds with that machine (uses box A in case you're wondering). Easy to do yourself. Otherwise most places like that (Walmart, Lowes, HD) will only cut keys they sell so you have to find a locksmith which can be harder.

    wrong chip

Posted by Andy on 10th Jun 2016

The web site tried to send me a GM key when I put in a "Ford focus" for the model of my car -- fortunately someone at the company noticed this and we corrected the problem -- BUT the when I received the keys it turned out to be the wrong chip for my car when I tried to get them programed -- I contacted the company again and they are sending me the correct keys with the correct chip --this should be completed next week
