Product Description
Two 5-Button flip key with remote start. Only for vehicles that require the key be inserted into the ignition switch and turned to start the vehicle. This is NOT for Passive Entry, Passive Start vehicles. (PEPS) If you have a push button start on your dash you need a PEPS key remote, not this one.
This remote fits the vehicles listed below:
• Chevrolet Camaro (2010-2016)
• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Sonic may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)
• Chevrolet Equinox (2010-2017)
• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2017) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to perform this procedure.)
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key first. Most locksmiths can do this for you. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealership.
Your vehicle must already have the remote start option on it. If not, buying this remote will NOT give you that function! (see notes below about AP8 vs AP3 code)

Great product
I bought these so that way I would have relatively exact copies of the original key fob I got for my car. With the logo included. When they shipped out to the product, they gave instructions as to where I can have the product taken to be copied for the key cut, and the business was very helpful and very professional. The product worked like a charm!

Perfect for the model and year specified. Any car dealer can cut "laser" key for low cost, $10-$25, They get key cutting codes from registration numbers. Locksmith charges $75. Very easy to program with instructions sent with purchase. Programing took 5 seconds. Very satisfied with product and price.

Fast, easy, affordable!
These remotes are the affordable alternative to purchasing from locksmiths or dealerships. They are high quality and easy to program on your own. I have a locksmith that cut the keys for $45 each. I was having some issues with my 2015 Chevy Equinox not locking or unlocking itself and thought I was in for some expensive repairs, but when I started using these fobs, the problem went away.

Saving Money
Cut at Battery Plus for $10 each. Programming was super easy to DIY. About $30 each total is way cheaper than any dealership would do, that’s for sure. Has been working great! (2 days in) The exact same model and brand that the dealership gave me when I got the car!
