4-button Chevrolet Flip Key remote. Not for passive entry vehicles. ONLY for vehicles that require the key be inserted and turned in the ignition switch to start. If you have a push-button on your dash to start the car you need a PEPS key remote. Not this one.
PROGRAMMING: The remote you purchase needs to be programmed to work on your vehicle. Easy, do it yourself programming instructions are included with the purchase. You will need to have the key cut to match your current key before programming. You will need to already have one working key that starts the vehicle. 2017 Sonic and 2017 and newer Impala require two working keys to perform this procedure. Canadian vehicles require programming by a locksmith or dealer.

• Chevrolet Cruze (2011-2016) (2016 Cruze may use different remotes. Make sure your's looks like this one)

• Chevrolet Impala (2014-2018) (2017 and newer require two working keys to program a 3rd)
• Chevrolet Malibu (2013-2016)
• Chevrolet Sonic (2012-2017) (2017 requires two working keys to program a 3rd)

Great Replacement FOB
Although slightly different from OEM, it worked out great. The instructions to program were clear and accurate. I just tapped out the key roll pin with a punch and slid the old key on. If you brace the key properly, the fob shouldn't be damaged.
